Hello,
The Session Directory server can be any Windows Server 2003-based computer that is visible on the network and that is running the Terminal Services Session Directory service. As a best practice, the Session Directory server should be a highly available network server that is not a terminal server. Windows 10 has nothing to do with the equation here. The question is, can I install Server 2016 on that particular hardware. We don't know what hardware you're talking about. I'm not a fan of production servers on desktop hardware. I'm even less of a fan on remote servers without something like an iDrac or iLO.

Thank you Wei Mao, so much for this post and the solution to the only items that were going to give me a problem for the Win 10 upgrade.

Essentially then you are stating that the mouse and the keyboard will get a new driver during the update and that in a short time that message will be obsolete or replaced by other alerts as they come into light. I run Dell Inspiron, Win 7-8gigs ram/1 terabyte hard drive. Centos 7. 4 iso download.
Currently I do have AVG..I assume that will not be moving on to Win 10 unless I install a Win10 version of that program, as I am cheap and use the free version.
Windows 10 Terminal Services Configuration
My other concern is the HP Laptop I was reading on the biometrics of the finger scan functionality after the upgrade, could we get a post outlining that is some details that have a link to a fix or a pre-fix that will make it capable of working with a correctly upon install or is that going to be a after install fix?
Terminal Server Windows 10 1903
I have used/fixed and built/tore up and enjoyed all MS OS's since the 1980's and am THRILLED to see this evolution to the 21st Century's version of this magnificent machine we all call computers. I feel like if people want to grump about this or that in reference to the upgrade (free no less) they can just go get a MAC!~lol.
